There is power in the promises of God. Promise is defined as, “a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen”. (Oxford dictionary)
We serve the ultimate promise keeper. If you’ve lived any number of years, someone has probably broken a promise they made to you, but our God is incapable of breaking His promises to us.
Psalm 145:13 tells us this, “The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all He does.” (NIV)
The Bible is full of promise after promise from God. I encourage you to really dig deep into His promises and find ones fitting to your situation to begin to declare over your life.
Today I am going to share with you three very powerful promises from God that I believe we can all declare over any situation.
“Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!” Luke 1:37 TPT
1. God is working ALL things together for my good! (Romans 8:28)
A few weeks ago, it was as if everything was going wrong. We’ve all been there, right? Your morning starts out rushed and then you, of course, hit major traffic and then your gas light comes on, and everything seems as if it is falling apart.
Do you know that even in these moments God is working ALL things together for your good? Next time you have a day where it seems like everything is going wrong begin to declare, “God is working ALL things together for my good”.
There is nothing quite like declaring this to turn a bad day or bad situation around. No matter what you are facing today God WILL work it out in your favor.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
2. God knows the plans He has for me and they are good! (Jeremiah 29:11)
Do you ever wonder if your life is going according to plan? We have a promise from God in Jeremiah 29:11 that He knows the plans He has for us and they are good. God has a good plan for your life.
If your life feels less than good right now begin to declare, “God knows the plans He has for me and they are good”. Also, begin to surrender your plans to God’s plans. Ask Him to lead you and guide you into the plans He has for you and then be willing to surrender your own plans to His sovereign plans.
Remember, His ways are ALWAYS better than ours. (Isaiah 55:8) We can trust Him and the plans He has for us. One plan God had for me that I NEVER would have chosen for myself was starting this blog.
I never would have chosen this path, but God continued to plant the seed in my heart. Over and over again I felt the urge to start this blog. Now I can see how His ways are better than mine and how He knew just what He was doing in this plan for me.
Trust that He has a plan for you and when He reveals it you, be willing to take the necessary steps to walk into that plan, no matter how terrifying it may feel.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
3. Nothing is impossible for God! (Luke 1:37)
Do we truly realize just how capable our God is? We serve the God who parted the Red Sea, fed 5,000+ with five loaves of bread and two fish, impregnated a virgin, sent a cloud by day and fire by night, rained down manna from heaven, and the list could truly go on and on.
NOTHING is impossible for our great God. Begin to declare this over your life, over your finances, over your ministry, over your family, over every area of your life.
As Christians, we are never defeated, because our God is just waiting to step in for us at just the right time. Do not forget just how CAPABLE He is! NOTHING is impossible for Him.
No situation is too messed up. Nothing is too bleak. For there is NOTHING our God cannot do. Let this promise burn within you and begin to declare it over your life.
When disappointment and discouragement creep in declare, “nothing is impossible for my great God”. Meditate on this until you truly believe it deep in your heart!
“Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!” Luke 1:37 TPT
Meditate, Declare, Believe
Your God is for you! He is working ALL things together for your good. He knows the plans He has for you and they are good plans, plans not to harm you, but to prosper you. And never forget NOTHING is impossible for our great God!
Meditate on these promises from God, declare them over your life, and believe them with everything inside of you because we serve the ultimate promise keeper! No promise from God will ever go unmet.
